Saul Bass graphic desinger

Saul Bass has used three types of colour, blue, white and black. He has used blue for the center block, which makes the black stand out. The colours that he has used have little white specks in them. Saul Bass has used white lines to break up the blocks of colour. His use of pattern makes the cover look striking and draws the readers eye.
Saul Bass seems to favour the simplicity of using just three warm colours. Saul has used a simple swirl effect, he has also used playing cards and a casino chip with 007 on it to indicate that the story is about James Bond.

Saul Bass has used a simple but effective background colour, which brings out the little details on the phone. The composition is plain, but eye catching.
Saul Bass uses repetition to build up the picture. Saul Bass uses triangles to draw the readers eye in to the center of the image. He uses two warm colours for the background, which create bold lines.
Saul Bass uses a monoprint background, which makes the main image pop out. Saul has used squares which form a pattern. He's done a tight layout, which is effective.
Saul Bass has used seven warm colours, which compliment each other. The layout again is simple. There is a white line separating the two blocks of colour in the background. It gives the effect of an horizon.
