Looking at Jo peel (response)

I looked at Jo Peels work and had to create my own version of her work. I used Illustrator to produce my work.

First I Used the pen tool to create a flag back ground, I used one colour. Then after that I collected some industrial pictures, because Jo Peels work, works around old building and changing towns/ city's. I collected one image at a time, I selected windows at the top and then I selected Image Trace. When I selected that the tool box came up, and I clicked on the little arrow next to advanced. When that was selected I clicked on Ignore white, then trace. My image then became transparent.
I repeated this method for every photo and placed them where I thought it would fit best.

Jo Peels work has a strong use of line, she uses repetition to bring out the detail in her buildings.
Jo Peels uses One or two types of colours, which makes her detailed items stand out (the buildings and machinery).

Formal elements used:
Line
Form
Colour
Tone
